Michael Strahan was feeling the love Sunday at his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction in Canton, Ohio!

The newly single Live! With Kelly and Michael co-host gave an emotional acceptance speech, telling the cheering audience, "This is not TV Michael—this is football Michael!"

Strahan, 42, spoke for 34 minutes about his "improbable" journey to success with the New York Giants (he retired in 2007 after helping the team win its first Super Bowl in 20 years). He thanked his mom Louise, saying proudly, "I am a mama's boy," and thanked dad Gene, too, calling him "an amazing, amazing man." His older siblings, who taunted him for being "husky or 'big-boned' as I liked to call it," got shout-outs, too, for prompting 13-year-old Strahan to get in shape.

The Hall of Famer famed thanked his four children—Tanita, Michael Jr., Isabella and Sophia—as well as multiple members of the Giants' "family," including current star quarterback Eli Manning. Strahan thanked his Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts and his Live! co-host and "TV wife," Kelly Ripa.

Strahan, whose rep confirmed just last week he and Nicole Murphy had decided to end their engagement, didn't let the breakup blues get him down. "I don't think any of us knew what to expect this weekend," he said towards the end of his speech, "but this has been the best weekend of my life."

Glad to hear it. Congratulations!
