If you loved the Nashville: On the Record special concert episode of Nashville last season when the cast took to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry to perform their songs live for the first time, you're going to love this news.

When the ABC Southern soap returns for season three this fall, it's going to be live.

No, really, the premiere is going to feature live musical performances by some of the cast! Um, how awesome is that?!

As first reported by ETOnline, throughout the premiere, the broadcast will swap back and forth between the already recorded episode and the Bluebird Cafe set in Nashville for special performances.

So which cast members are taking off the training wheels to sing live?

Chris Carmack, who plays newly out gay cowboy Will Lexington, will sing "If It's Love" written by The Striking Matches, and the second performance will be by Charles Esten, who plays Deacon Claybourne, singing "I Know How To Love You Now," co-written by Esten and Deana Carter.

But here's the coolest part: the live performances will be live for both coasts. That's right, the east coast (central time zone) won't be the only ones having all the fun. After the East Coast airing, the cast will perform their songs live for the second time for the West Coast airing. Sounds fair and totally awesome, right? Plus, both the studio tracks and live rendition versions of the songs will be immediately available for fans to download on iTunes following the episode so you can keep on singing along even after the episode ends.

As if the wait for season three wasn't hard enough already. We are counting down the days!

Nashville season three premieres Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
