Oh, happy day for saw-hand lovers everywhere!

Sharknado 2: The Second One pulled in killer ratings for its premiere last night, and blew some previous Twitter record-holders (like Kim and Kanye, and Miley Cyrus) out of the water.

The highly-anticipated follow-up debuted to some seriously strong ratings, making it the channel's most watched original movie ever.

That's not an exaggeration! Sharknado 2: The Second One premiered with 3.9 million total viewers and 1.6 million adults age 18-49, averaging 1.8 million adults age 25-54. That's nearly three times the ratings the original Sharknado movie earned.

And if you were one of the (seriously) few people that missed watching the movie last night, you can still pretend like you know all about Ian Ziering and Tara Reid's adventures with chainsaws with our roundup of the 11 Craziest Moments From Sharknado 2: The Second One. Yeah, you're welcome.

Or you can just watch it when Syfy airs it again on Saturday, August 2 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 3 at 9 p.m.
