Talk about keeping things private!

Saturday Night Live alum Maya Rudolph found a way to keep her fourth child's name and gender a secret for almost one whole year.

According to documents just obtained by TMZ, Rudolph and her longtime partner Paul Thomas Anderson gave birth to a baby girl back on Aug. 1, 2013.

Because she chose to deliver the baby at her private home instead of a hospital, Rudolph was given more time to file an official birth certificate.

In California, where the child was born, proper documentation must be filed before the baby's first birthday. Just in time, right?

The couple chose to name their baby girl Minnie Ida Anderson after Rudolph's mother, Minnie Riperton.

She joins a happy family that includes older siblings Jack, Pearl Minnie and Lucille.

"This is like a modern-day version of The Waltons at this point," Rudolph joked on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Congrats to the healthy family!
