This is 19-year-old Cassandra Blackwel from Toronto. And like billions of ladies across the globe, she is going through a breakup. Here are some of the typical things women do to move on after a relationship ends:

1. Cry
2. Eat lots of terrible food
3. Go out drinking/dancing with girlfriends
4. Find a rebound dude
5. Throw yourself into a new hobby
6. Watch romantic comedies and wonder why you can't find love
7. Watch gory horror films and wonder why you can't do those things to an ex

Cassandra didn't want to do any of that. Instead, she looked to the one and only Beyoncé to help her through this most painful time.

Tumblr

She recently started to "Beyoncify" her boyfriend, meaning she slapped photos of the beautiful and ethereal Beyoncé over happy pics of her and her ex. And then she started a Tumblr for the photos to celebrate her newfound strategy for getting over him.

"Breakups suck," she writes on her page. "You know what makes them easier? Reimagining your happiest times together with none other than Queen B."

It's a bold strategy and it seems like it's really working out for her. The best part about all this is how clumsy and half-assed the Photoshop jobs are, a fact that Cassandra is well aware and even proud of.

"The pictures aren't the best quality, but that's kind of the point," she told Buzzfeed. "I have no idea how to use Photoshop. I'm not trying to properly cover him, I'm just slapping him with Beyoncé, and people are really responding to that. It's an ode to how much effort I put into the relationship, if you will."

Our new life motto: when someone gets you down, slap them with Beyoncé. Damn, we should put that on a T-shirt.

She's also taking submissions from readers in case you have an ex that desperately needs the Beyoncifying treatment. It won't be a permanent solution to getting through a breakup, but it will definitely improve your mood significantly.

"If imagining yourself at your happiest with Beyoncé doesn't help, I don't know what will," Cassandra reasons.
