Andi and Josh did it! They got engaged on last night's Bachelorette finale!
But um…minor detail: Are they still together now?
Anyone who actually watched the live After the Rose ceremony can't help but wonder how the "soulmate" couple is faring today, after Andi's runner-up pick Nick revealed on live TV that he and Andi "made love" together during the filming of the show. You know, right before Josh put a ring on it.
That's gotta leave a mark, right?!
E! News just chatted with Andi and Josh, who insist they are still "in love," and that Nick's revelation that he slept with Andi doesn't mean a thing.
"I couldn't care less," Josh told us. "I didn't even see Nick [last night]."
"It is what it is," Andi echoed. "That's him showing his colors or beliefs…Everyone may be talking about it, but it's so over and done and it's been over and done. This happened months ago, so we've already put that behind us. I'd rather people just talk about us and talk about the happy couple. We did it. We did what the show is all about. We are in love."
Still, at this point, no one can be too sure what is truth and what is spin. A source close to the couple told E! News: "They will not make it. He was more concerned about ‘winning' than being actually interested in Andi...She really likes him but his feelings for her are not as strong."
Harsh opinion, we know. And here's hoping they pull through. After all, the Bachelorette/Bachelor franchise sure could use another success story. (Check out who's still together.)
One thing that might help: Josh told us he actually did not watch any of The Bachelorette season. "I didn't need to watch them, obviously," he says of the episodes. "I know what happens because [Andi] is honest with me about everything. It's really not even a big deal."
Josh and Andi told us that although they haven't set a wedding date yet, "We're thinking probably spring," and that they will be moving to Atlanta together. "I mean I got the ring already," Andi says with a laugh. "My lease is up and his lease is up, so we're going to get a place together."
For Nick's part, he insists he had no intention of humiliating Andi by revealing to the Bachelorette audience that they had done the deed. But he wishes things had gone differently.
"I definitely wish I had that opportunity to have that conversation with her in private," Nick told reporters during a conference call. "I did not go into last night expecting to ask her that. I was just so caught off guard by her demeanor. It wasn't so much about the sex, but the level of intimacy that night. And given the situation at the time I made it very clear where I was in my feelings for her and what something like that meant to me. I was just so caught off guard, that it sort of just came out. I didn't want to humiliate her or make her feel that way. I feel very sorry if she did feel that way. "
