Prince William and Kate Middleton are proof that royals can get a little goofy, too, even if it's not necessarily intentional.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Commonwealth Games at the SSE Hydro stadium in Glasgow early Monday afternoon and at one point were caught in what may be one of their greatest photos to-date. While carefully paying attention to the athletic competition happening right in front of their eyes, both Wills and Kate witnessed something (we wish we knew what!) that made them each give Zoolander's famous Blue Steel face at the same exact time.

And we're obsessed.

While William focused more on furrowing his brow and pursing his lips, Kate gave the Steel expression a softer approach by relaxing her eyes. Of course, they didn't realize what they were doing, but that's what makes this that much more amazing.

In fact, the duo were caught making a bunch of funny facial expressions throughout the games.

At one point, something stunned the royals so much that William looked like he was in physical pain, while Kate almost couldn't bear to look, covering her mouth with her hand. In less intense moments, Prince William was spotted jokingly pulling on his lady's badge as she flashed her pearly whites for the shutterbugs.

Prince Harry also joined the twosome for the gymnastics portion of the games earlier today. Gymnastics is just one of several sports that Kate, William and Harry are slated to attend during the almost weeklong games, which includes badminton, hockey, lawn bowls, netball, squash, shooting, swimming, weightlifting, table tennis and boxing.
