We're just gonna say it. The Originals is building momentum like no other TV show out there.

The cast hit Comic-Con today to talk about what's ahead for season two, and premiered this thrilling new season-two trailer, which poses the question: "Which of Our Parents Do We Kill First?"

Decisions, decisions.

Season two will feature a vengeful Haley and Klaus, and Klaus will go to a "dark place" after losing his daughter, Joseph Morgan teased.

"We talked a lot about the sins of the past coming back to haunt us in the present," executive producer Michael Narducci explained, adding that big boss Julie Plec was seeking a "dark, warped fairytale element" for season two. "Our heroes are dealing with the return of their monstrous parents and what it means to them."

Here's what else we learned:

HAYLEY AND KLAUS: The show's new hybrid Hayley will "really looks to Klaus for guidance," Phoebe Tonkin teased, adding that it's not romantic. He'll be helping her adjust to her vampire side, and Plec is excited about her character's new direction."Watching her find her own sense of strength and power is going to be a beautiful journey," she said.

HAYLEY AND ELIJAH: Daniel Gillies is so on board! "It's exciting to me still, especially now that there's this necessary restraint," he said of the show's fan-favorite could-be couple. "I want to see them continue. I want to see what emerges and blossoms from there."

REBEKAH IS BACK: Claire Holt reprises her role to tell that "twisted fairytale" within the first three episodes. With baby in arms.

HOT NEW POTENTIAL COUPLE ALERT: Davina (Danielle Campbell) seems to have an instant vibe with her new love interest. Daniel Sherman has joined the show as the mysterious, bad-boy Caleb, who gets flirty with the young witch. "Davina meets Caleb and she's a bit smitten," Campbell told the crowd.

THE QUESTION THAT NEVER SHALL DIE: What about Klaus and Caroline? "Your guess is as good as mine," Morgan replied when a fan asked about the now-torn-apart pair. Plec was more candid about the realities of revisiting that particular pair, given that they are now firmly on separate shows. "There is no place for Caroline in Klaus' community at the moment," Plec said.
