After doing some diaper duty, Kerry Washington is ready to get scandalous again.

The famous actress and new mom has returned to work on the hit ABC drama Scandal for the first time since giving birth to her adorable baby girl, Isabelle. Show creator Shonda Rhimes posted a photo of Washington giving the camera a smirk with the script covering part of her face on her WhoSay account.

Rhimes captioned the pic, "Our own @kerrywashington at the #scandal table read! We are just starting the read!!"

And the celeb came back to work with some great news: Washington and co-stars Joe Morton and Kate Burton are all up for Emmy Awards!

"It made me so glad when I heard their names today," Scandal star Tony Goldwyn told E! News recently while promoting his new WE tv series, The Divide. And since the show wasn't back to shooting at the time, Goldwyn decided to use the help of technology to let Washington know the exciting news. "I sent Kerry an email this morning going, 'You are having some year, mama!'" That's precious.

Before heading back to the hustle and bustle of TV life, Kerry was spotted enjoying some quality family time at the Happiest Place on Earth. Washington, husband Nnamdi Asomugha and their baby girl spent the afternoon and evening at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure on Saturday.

We were told that Kerry looked very happy and healthy and seemed to be in good spirits.

Scandal premieres on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
