The kid who's third in line for the British throne is still a baby. But in 17 years he may be kind of a babe!

A forensic artist has taken the liberty of projecting what Prince George, who just turned 1 this week, will look like as an 18-year-old circa 2031—and the finished results are so realistic. As in, this really looks like a flesh-and-blood guy who already exists in life.

But Dr. D'Lynn Waldron, an expert in age-progression and age-regression portraiture, says that she has created this picture of potential teenage George using the royal baby's own ears and forehead; dad Prince William's smile; and mom Kate Middleton's teeth, nose and eye shape.

Waldron placed him in front of Windsor Castle, wearing a garter robe and royal regalia.

"My portraits do not predict the future, but only show what it might be in certain circumstances," Waldron says on her website. "With modern cosmetic and medical intervention, some of my portraits are like the Picture of Dorian Gray, showing things that the world will never see."

She writes, "My age-progressed and age-regressed portraits are digitally painted artwork forensically based on all available source materials, including genetics, lifestyle, medical history, personality, environment, and how gravity effects their type of face."

Looking at the 18-year-old George side by side with Prince William at 18, we do see similarities, and we definitely see the Kate's-teeth-and-nose portion of the projection... Either way, we're seeing two handsome lads.

This was the sort of genealogical artistry that went into the vision of what Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes' future son or daughter will look like, created a few weeks ago by forensic artist Joe Mullins.

So we're only expecting more of them to pop up as the world's hot and famous continue to reproduce!
