Looks like Dakota Johnson may have a new man in her life—and no, we're not talking about Christian Grey.
Just one day before the titillating trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey was released, the film's leading lady was photographed holding hands and sharing passionate kiss with Matthew Hitt, a hunky Welsh model and musician.
The rumored couple appeared unabashed to put their affection on full display and was seen packing on the PDA as they strolled the streets of NYC on Wednesday.
According to an eyewitness, the duo spent five hours out and about in the Big Apple, where they "looked very cozy with one another." The two exchanged sweet kisses and smiles while looking "happy and in love."
Johnson, 24, kept her famous figure covered up in a mid-calf floral dress teamed with white leather loafers, while Hitt looked handsome in a skinny black jeans and a matching jacket. The two both sported retro shades as they walked hand in hand, appearing relaxed and comfortable in each other's company.
While the brunette beauty has yet to officially comment on her relationship status, the steamy photos of the duo seem to suggest that Johnson has indeed split from Jordan Masterson, with whom she was first romantically linked in September 2013 (although cozy Instagram pics of the pair seem to suggest that they had been dating for nearly a year once the media got wind of their romance).
The duo was last photographed together in late May, and Masterson was regularly seen visiting the actress of the Fifty Shades set.
Meanwhile, the hotly anticipated trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey—which is based on E.L. James' erotic thriller of the same name—continues to make waves following its official debut on the Today show this morning.
The super-steamy clip features Christian Grey (played by Jamie Dornan) seducing Anastasia Steele (Johnson) and introducing her to his red room of pain as an exclusive version of Beyoncé's "Crazy In Love" plays in the background.
Both Dornan and Johnson opened up about the flick in an interview on Today, where the actress admitted she was "a little" nervous to take on the role.
"We'll see what they think," she said.
Safe to say she's already won one hunky man's stamp of approval.
