Big Brother just got a whole lot harder for one player…and it has nothing to do with the game.
Contestant Frankie Grande, who is also Ariana Grande's brother, received upsetting news Wednesday when show producers alerted him about his grandfather's death.
According to viewers watching the CBS live feed online, Frankie was able to read a letter from his family that explained everything that had happened.
Even Ariana herself was able to witness how her brother handled the upsetting news.
Because of Big Brother's strict policy of no Internet, phones or overall communication outside the house, many wondered if Frankie was ever going to hear about his grandfather's passing until he was eliminated from the show. In fact, Frankie is not nominated for eviction this week meaning he is already guaranteed a spot on the show until next Thursday.
Ariana and Frankie's beloved grandfather lost his battle with cancer Tuesday night. The "One Less Problem" singer was keeping fans updated on his health with the popular hashtag, #PrayForGrandpaGrande.
We're wishing the entire Grande family all the best during this tough time.
