Tori Spelling hopes to be able to share the whole true Tori, er, story with her kids one day.

"I hope to be able to have a very candid conversation with them one day because I hope we will have made it through this and made it out on the other side, and we survived something that was a tough thing," she told Jason Kennedy today during a visit to E! News when asked if she ever worried that her children would eventually find out how her and hubby Dean McDermott's marital issues played out online.

Now that Tori and Dean are making a joint concerted effort to put their troubles behind them, she would like to think that they'll be able to pass a strong message on to their four kids together, as well as Dean's teenage son from his previous marriage.

"We made it through," the Mystery Girls star continued, "and we can talk about it freely and say, 'You know, things aren't always easy and you've got to work on a relationship, and somethings things happen that isn't great but you move forward. I hope that's the case and I hope to be able to talk to them about it."

As for her relationship with Dean, who told E! News last week that he and his wife are proof that "love does conquer all," Tori would only go as far as saying that things are "good."

"We're working on things," the actress said. "We're committed to being a family and moving forward and that's what we're trying to do—it's day by day."

Their next step, Tori said, is "trying to rebuild our relationship and evolve. Moving on from [what happened], the new relationship that kind of transpires."
