Joseph Morgan and Persia White didn't want to wait to say "I do"!

So, just two months after announcing their engagement news, the lovebirds married July 5 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, in front of 26 guests, People magazine confirmed today.

The couple, who met in 2011 on the set of The Vampire Diaries, wanted their wedding to have "a very rustic feel to it," said White, 41. "There was nothing about it that was overwhelming or very huge or fabulous in that way. We tried to keep everything really intimate and beautiful and sort of going along with nature."

"I think one of the reasons we picked it was because we love the ocean and we both grew up by the sea," she added "To be by the sea was wonderful. And the people of Jamaica are just wonderful."

The guests were "mostly family [and] a handful of close friends," Morgan, 33, said. "My best man was my best friend of almost 20 years, Matt Ryan. He actually plays John Constantine on the new NBC show Constantine, but we've been friends since we were teenagers."

Aww. The bride looked stunning in a Vera Wang dress while her handsome hubby wore an ivory-colored silk tuxedo with black lapels by Miguel Wilson. "And then I had a bow tie," added the groom, who currently stars in the CW's The Originals. "In fact, the bow time was the first bow tie I've ever tied myself, so I was quite proud of that."

The newlyweds chose Florence + the Machine's "Never Let Go" as the soundtrack for their first dance as a married couple, but, People reports that it was Children of the Drums, a local group, that made the festivities so incredibly memorable. "It was six Jamaican drummers, and they got everybody up on the dance floor," Morgan said. "At one point, all of our guests were on the dance floor, which is an achievement, I think."

It is, indeed! The couple stuck to a plant-based menu, right down to a vegan cake, which the bride described as "beautiful" and "amazing."

After exchanging vows, the new Mr. and Mrs. Morgan helicoptered over to Negril for their honeymoon, kicking things off by "partaking in the favorite local pastime—cliff jumping," said Morgan.

The happy twosome is still basking in the joy of their wedding day, but they've already got babies on the brain! White told People she and Morgan hope to start a family soon with "Little cute mini Josephs!"

Best of luck!
