The 35-year-old funny lady has penned a new book to follow her sidesplitting 2011 book of essays, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?
Her new book is called Why Not Me? and she had the photo shoot for its cover over the weekend, which entailed lots and lots of wardrobe changes.
Mindy posted each of the darling dresses she tried on her Instagram account, and a couple of them had some pretty hi-larious captions.
Our favorite? Her in a pleated, ice blue Opening Ceremony dress and hot pink Jimmy Choos with the caption: "Your favorite babysitter who you lost your virginity to and went to jail after."
Oh, Mindy.
We also love the pic of her in a long-sleeved hot pink dress and metallic heels, which she titled, "More book cover looks. Channeling Glenn Close."
Her day of playing dress up looks like it was a ton of fun, and it's pretty hard for us to decide which ensemble we like best for her book cover.
We love the girly, white Dolce dress with lace detailing and short sleeves, but we also love to see Mindy in one of her trademark colorful frocks.
