She tied the knot with Johannes Huebl back in June, and now she's officially a shoe designer.
The newlywed is pairing up with Florence-based label Aquazzura to design a luxury footwear collection, boasting shoes for every occasion. The six-piece collaboration, titled Aquazzura x Olivia Palermo, will incorporate the best of Palermo's sartorial senses. We're talking vintage-jewelry inspired sparkling sandals, gladiators and edgy over-the-knee boots to list a few.
"The Aquazzura aesthetic very much fits my own," Palermo told British Vogue. "I think it is no secret that I love a good shoe, so I very much enjoyed creating a 'survival pack' for every occasion and women of all ages."
The luxe shoe collection will be available at 12 upscale retailers as well as Net-a-porter this September. But what WWD claims are meant to be "relatively reasonable" shoes aren't exactly the bargainista's idea of cheap—ranging from $600 to $1,625 a pair.
The New York-based fashionista announced her first fashion collaboration with up-and-coming Westward Leaning last month, launching eight sunglass designs with the brand. Not to mention she's made several stylish magazine appearances as of late, lending her face to the cover of Cosmopolitan Latina and posing pre-nuptials for Brides magazine.
But back to the style collab du jour: the heels. We may only have the sketches to go by, but we definitely have high hopes for Olivia's high heels.
