Do blondes really have more fun? Giuliana Rancic will be able to let you know for sure.
The E! News host decided on a whim that she wanted to have a huge change with her tresses, and called up her longtime stylist Yvonne Brown of Meche Salon in Beverly Hills to dye her brunette locks blond.
"All right, I am about to embark on a drastic hair change this evening. I'm going to—I'm thinking about going from my current color to blond…very blond," Rancic said during a video documenting her hair transformation.
"I'm a big fan of 'go big or go home,' so I don't wanna do like wishy-washy. If I'm gonna do blond, I wanna do blond. So I'm thinking, I don't know, I want a change. Hair is temporary, it's not like plastic surgery, so it's fun to change your hair here and there."
G added, "This is the first time we're talking about this," referring to her "amazing" hairstylist. "I texted her and said 'I wanna be blond.' So, she's like, 'OK, here we go,'" she said.
So the two went at it, foiling up Rancic's short locks until she was completely on the dark light side. Rancic hinted at the change last night on Twitter and Instagram when she posted a sneak peek of her dye job on the social media websites and wrote, "Hope it's true what they say... #BlondesHaveMoreFun #BlondeAmbitionTour2014 #NoFilter."
She followed up this morning with yet another picture of mainly her hair, while in bed, and simply captioned it, "#nofilter."
