Why are we making these questionable statements? Because today we discovered Officer Chris Kohrs, a cop in San Francisco who has been dubbed by the locals as the "Hot Cop of Castro."
Chris is 36 years old and has been a police officer in San Fran for the past six years. He was "discovered" earlier this year when a resident of SF couldn't help but notice how ridiculously good-looking he was while sitting around on his cop bike.
Since then, Chris is constantly being stopped on the streets and asked to take photos with residents, and he's always more than happy to oblige. There's even a Facebook page dedicated to him so his "fans" can post photos or you know, just straight up ogle him.
So how does he feel about all the attention he gets on a daily basis?
"I'm not used to a lot of people coming up to me and taking pictures and things like that. I'm happy to do that. But—just the amount of people—it's flattering. But that was something I had to get used to working in that neighborhood," he told SFist.com. "I'm flattered by it. I'm thankful for all the people out there who are so supportive. I appreciate your support!"
And we appreciate your face, Officer Chris. Yum.
