Who's calling Erin Andrews a "gutless bitch"?!

During a WEEI radio show this week, Boston radio personality Kirk Minihane went on a misogynistic rant attacking the Fox Sports sideline reporter over a recent, not-so-smooth interview she did with St. Louis Cardinals baseball star Adam Wainwright.

"What a bitch," Minihane said. "I hate her. What a gutless bitch. Seriously, go away. Drop dead. I mean seriously, what the hell is wrong with her?"

"I hate her," he went on. "I seriously hate her so much."

Minihane sorta apologized later on, saying, "I shouldn't call her a bitch, because I'm sure she's a nice person."

While Andrews has yet to respond to all the hate, Massachusetts' state attorney general Martha Coakley came to Andrews defense. "I think that's pretty unacceptable in this day and age," she told Boston.com. "Here's a professional woman, doing her job, obviously we can all be criticized for what we do but we should be able to do it without those kind of disgusting, uncalled for and frankly outrageous comments."

"Everybody understands fair criticism, but when it becomes personal, when it's demeaning, and when it goes over the line as this did, that language is inexcusable and it's offensive," she added.
