Music videos sure have been motivational lately, and we're not complaining!

Shortly after fans were greeted with the tear-jerker that is John Legend's music video for "You and I," singer Colbie Caillat released her video for "Try," and it also embraces natural beauty and embodies a massive amount of girl power in just four minutes.

According to the press release, Caillat was encouraged by co-writer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds to voice her frustrations surrounding the mounting pressure she felt as a woman, particularly in the entertainment industry. The song, written over a year ago, is a message of self-acceptance to herself and to others—you don't have to "Try" to be someone other than who you are.

"Take your makeup off/ Let your hair down/ Take a breath/ Look into the mirror at yourself/ Don't you like you?/ Cause I like you," Caillat sings.

The video features Caillat and a number of beautiful women of all ages and backgrounds looking done up and showing off their good looks while lip-syncing the words to the song. And then at one point, they each slowly begin to wipe the makeup off their faces, revealing their bare beauty—and it's awesome.

Colbie tweeted of the release, "'Try' is the 1st video I've never prepared for. Didn't go tanning or diet or heavily workout... & it felt wonderful!"

This single is off her forthcoming album Gypsy Heart.
