The world can't get enough of Idina Menzel this year.
The star of stage and screen kicked off the 2014 Major League Baseball All Star Game tonight with not just one, but two songs: a strong rendition of Bob Dylan's "Forever Young" and the always anticipated (and subsequently closely watched) national anthem.
Both performances were as lovely as always and Twitter was duly grateful, though there were still quite a few cracks about how an introduction by John Travolta would have livened things up. But goosebumps were mentioned a number of times, courtesy of the Frozen star's inimitable pipes, as well.
This game is already better than the Oscars. Joe Buck pronounced Idina Menzel's name correctly. Your move Travolta. #ASG2014

I wish John Travolta was at the @mlb #AllStarGame to introduce @idinamenzel as Maicer Izturis.

Watch Menzel sing both right here:
Want more? Good, there's more!
The only thing more stirring than Idina's closing note to cap off "The Star-Spangled Banner"?
Derek Jeter doubling to right to kick off his final All-Star Game.
#RE2PECT all around.
