Bridget Moynahan's pregnancy just found the end zone.

The actress delivered her first child, a baby boy, Wednesday in Los Angeles, her rep announced.

"Mother and baby are doing well," said publicist Christina Papadopoulos, who declined to reveal any other stats on the newborn.

The boy's father, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, told reporters two days ago he hoped to be present for the birth but needed to clear it with his coach, Bill Belichick.

Brady, 30, wasn't on the field for practice Wednesday, but it was not immediately clear if he had made it from Massachusetts to Los Angeles for the baby's arrival. A team spokeswoman was unsure if Brady would be playing in the Patriots preseason game against the Carolina Panthers on Friday.

Moynahan, 36, announced in February that she was pregnant with Brady's child. The news came three months after the couple ended their three-year relationship and while Brady was tooling around Paris with former Victoria's Secret babe Gisele Bündchen.

"Tom and his family are excited about the pregnancy and want to thank everyone who has shown support, and particularly for their consideration of Tom's privacy," Brady's agent, Don Yee, said in a statement at the time. Yee did not immediately comment on the birth Wednesday.

Moynahan costarred in last season's quickly canceled ABC series Six Degrees. Her other credits include I, Robot, The Sum of All Fears, Coyote Ugly and a recurring role on Sex and the City. Per IMDb, her next film, a dark comedy called Noise costarring Tim Robbins and William Hurt and completed before her pregnancy, is due out later this year.

Brady, who was named one of People's 50 Most Beautiful People in 2002, has led the Patriots to three Super Bowl victories, twice earning MVP honors.

In addition to his football career, Brady reportedly earns more than $9 million a year through his endorsement deals with Nike, Visa and Sirius and other companies.
