Kate Hudson was turning heads in New York City tonight.
The blond bombshell vamped up the red carpet at a screening of her upcoming movie Wish I Was Here held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater, wearing a strapless black Michael Kors gown with a midriff cut-out and sequin detail. She finished off the fierce and sexy look with minimal eye makeup and a deep burgundy lip, and kept her hairstyle sleek and simple.
The 35-year-old star was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Zach Braff, Josh Gad, and Donald Faison to promote the film (which hits theaters on Friday).
Wish I Was Here, financed for $3 million through a Kickstarter campaign, tells the story of Aidan Bloom (Braff), a 35-year old struggling actor, father and husband who is trying to find his identity and purpose in life while also homeschooling his two children after being unable to pay for private school.
"Yeah, the bigger films haven't really spoken to me. But people like to see me in comedies, which I love, and I do want to make more comedies [for women] that aren't dumbed down," Hudson recently shared to Parade.
