Leo, Grace is still into you!
Watching her former on-screen love interest Harry Connick Jr. take a seat at the American Idol judges' table this year was a dream come true for Will & Grace star Debra Messing, who is a huge fan of the Fox reality hit.
"I've been obsessed with American Idol ever since it began anyway so to see my buddy being the judge is just icing on the cake," Messing gushed to E! News at the 2014 NBC Summer TCA Press Tour, where she was promoting her new dramedy, The Mysteries of Laura, alongside her new leading man, Josh Lucas. "It's just so joyful for me to watch him. I love him to death."
But that doesn't mean she's giving his performance as a judge a perfect 10!
When we asked her to rate Connick's debut on Idol, she gave him a 9 out 10, prompting Lucas to ask why she withheld that final point. (Thanks for the assist, pal!)
"Well, he just started," she explained. Fair enough!
But Connick isn't Messing's only leading man to fail to receive a perfect score as Lucas hilariously revealed to us that his Uber driver called him out for not having a good rating as a passenger. Seriously! Watch our interview with Messing and Lucas above to hear why he has such a low rating!
