Jennifer Lopez and Michelle Obama look like they're BFFs!

The singer-actress actually introduced the first lady Thursday at the 2014 LULAC Convention in New York. J.Lo also Instagrammed a super-smiley selfie of "Me and my girl @flotus at #LULAC National convention for the empowerment of Latinos. #represent #keynotespeaker #introingthekeynotespeaker #dreambig."

Impressive! LULAC, which stands for the League of United Latin American Citizens and seeks to empower Latinos, held its 85th national convention at the Hilton in midtown. There, according to the organization's website, both J.Lo and the FLOTUS addressed 1,500 Latino leaders at the luncheon with 20,000 more people expected to participate in the four-day convention.

Immediately after the luncheon, Jennifer hosted a private screening of her upcoming Nuvo TV series Los Jets. This documentary follows a high school soccer team made up of mainly Latin immigrants both on and off the field. It's set in a small southern down where the players, while facing adversity, train their way towards victory.

The first lady might not have been able to stick around for this, because later in the afternoon she visited the headquarters of Global Kids, Inc, a nonprofit organization for global learning and youth development.

Clearly, FLOTUS has a busy schedule, but we're glad she managed to sneak in a quick selfie with JLo!
