Texas governor Rick Perry may not have wanted to shake President Barack Obama's hand, but this guy in a horse mask couldn't wait for the rare encounter.

While in Colorado on Tuesday, POTUS greeted supporters on a walk following dinner in downtown Denver, where he was met with a man wearing a head-head mask.

Obama seemed a little confused at first (understandably so), but a wonderful photo that captured their meeting shows the prez happily shaking hands with this mystery fellow and laughing at the whole scenario.

But what's even better? Obama and Horse Man have made history! After configuring some crucial data, it has been confirmed that this is indeed the first time a president has shaken hands with a horse-masked man (just look at all of these charts for proof).

Obama followed his surprising greeting with a stop at the Wynkoop Brewing Co., where he was joined by Colorado governor John Hickenlooper, a Democrat and one of the brewery's co-founders.

The duo were seen throwin' back a couple beers while challenging each other in a game of pool. According to reports, POTUS has some serious skill when it comes to billiards and beat Hickenlooper by a landslide.

"Did you record that?" Obama asked the press. "I take a little longer to warm up," Hickenlooper explained.

"The president shoots some mean stick with a kind heart," Hickenlooper wrote on Twitter later that evening, with an accompanying picture of Obama lining up a pool shot. "Won $20 off me, but returned it saying, ‘Give it to charity.'"

Whatta guy!
