Penélope Cruz recently sported a massive fake, bare baby bump on the set of her latest movie, Ma Ma, which she is also producing.
The 40-year-old actress, who shares two children with husband Javier Bardem in real life, was seen in a recent photo standing in water in a red bikini top and mustard bottoms and pointing straight at the photographer who captured the moment. Co-star Luis Tosar is also pictured.
The Pirates of the Caribbean and Nine star's role as Magda marks her first part in a Spanish-language film in five years. The show shows her character dealing with tragedy.
"Large emotional and dramatic intensity, and it turns on the intimacy of the characters—one woman, two men, played by Luis Tosar and Asier Etxeandia, who love her, and a 10-year-old boy," director Julio Medem told Variety in an interview posted in May. "It's the first time I portray a character who's not a woman and lover but a mother. Maternity is key in Ma Ma. The tragedy stems from that."
