His new please-forgive-me album Paula reportedly sold just 530 copies in the U.K. in its first week. Per the Guardian, this meant the "Get Her Back" singer's latest album entered the Official U.K. Chart at No. 200, reaching just two percent of Blurred Lines' first week sales.
Fortunately for Robin, 37, more of us back across the pond were more easily convinced. Per Billboard, Paula sold 24,000 copies in its first week of U.S. sales, placing it at No. 9 on the charts.
As for those Canucks? (Remember, y'all, Robin holds dual American-Canadian citizenship!) Well, dad Alan Thicke's homeland wasn't buying it either. According to Nielsen ScoundScan Canada, only 550 Paula albums were sold in its first week.
Although Robin hasn't actually seen his estranged wife for four months, his quest to win her back has been nothing but relentless. But just last week on Good Morning America, the "Lost Without U" singer admitted, "I actually have no idea what I'm doing."
"I'm just kinda flying by the seat of my pants," he said. "I just wanted to make something artistic out of a very difficult period...When you lose the love of your life, you don't have much to hide anymore."
Well...sometimes actions speak louder than words. Then again, maybe album sales do, too.
