"A" is back, y'all!
In Pretty Little Liars' epic 100th episode, one of TV"s most iconic villain (or villains?!) returned in a big way after taking a mini-hiatus from evil, deciding to (Spoiler Alert!) torch Toby's (Keegan Allen) house. Hey, that's one way to get the Liars' attention!
Of course, "A"'s bold return also jump-started the ABC Family hit's biggest mystery: Who. The. Hell. Is. "A"?! Several characters (Mona! Toby?!) have been revealed to be in cahoots with the big bad (or were being forced to work with them), but we've yet to meet the ringleader. Still, that hasn't stopped the cast, creators and fans of the series from coming up with some pretty crazy theories.
When we visited Rosewood during filming of the 100th episode, we asked creator Marlene King and stars Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson, Tyler Blackburn and Sasha Pieterse, among others, to reveal the craziest "A" theories they've ever heard...
The one thing all their answers had in common? They are all bonkers. And could all actually be totally right!
Similar to many fan theories back in the Lost days, Benson says, "I really want it to be someone's imagination or dream, like they're in a psych ward because we all go to the psych ward. I haven't been yet, but I really want to! Write that in!"
Janel Parrish, who plays former "A" team member Mona, reveals that she's heard, "'A''s Hanna's mom. That's probably the craziest one that I've heard." But Laura Leighton, Hanna's mama Ashley, is quick to deny the allegations, telling us, "I think that one's pretty crazy and off the wall. I don't think it's possible, I don't think it's me!"
But she isn't the only parent being accused of torturing the Liars, with Lucy Hale saying, "I think the funniest one...someone thought that my mom was 'A' just because she's always gone.'"
Still, there are crazier ones out there...like it being one of the Liars! Plus, there's one cast member who is really hoping they are "A" and another one who has probably one of the best theories we've ever heard!
