Gwyneth Paltrow refuses to sit down.

The Oscar winner will return for the second time as a co-producer of the fourth Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) television special in September. She will once again work alongside Emmy-winning producer Joel Gallen.

"Cancer profoundly touched my life when I lost my father to the disease twelve years ago, and Stand Up To Cancer gives me a powerful platform to fight for a cause that I'm passionate about," Paltrow said in statement released this morning by the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF)

The one-hour commercial-free telecast will be broadcast live from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Sept. 5  at 8 p.m. on every major television network, including NBC, ABC, Fox and CBS as well as E!, Bravo, HBO, Starz, TNT, VH1, HBO Latino, Logo TV, Oxygen, the MLB Network and many more.

One hundred percent of the monies raised during the show will go to support SU2C's work in accelerating the pace of groundbreaking cancer research and the coordination of scientists to work collaboratively on developing promising new treatments. The three previous telecasts brought in a total of more than $261 million.

Past celebrity participants have included Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Aniston, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Brad Pitt, Halle Berry, Justin Timberlake, Katie Couric, Scarlett Johansson, Tim McGraw, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Jack Black, Keanu Reeves and many more.

Hollywood producer and SU2C co-founder Laura Ziskin executive produced the first two telecasts in 2008 and 2010. She lived with breast cancer for seven years before it took her life in June 2011.
