Gavin Rossdale, to the rescue!
The musician found himself in the middle of a dangerous riptide over the Fourth of July holiday weekend when he was surrounded by family and friends.
Rossdale was playing in the sand in Malibu with his sons Kingston and Zuma, the family pooch Chewy, and Rachel Zoe's hubby, Rodger Berman, and their son Skyler when a wave came and pulled the little Pomeranian further into the ocean.
Berman immediately grabbed a hold of the kids, who appeared to be completely unfazed by the wave, when the Bush frontman noticed that his four-legged friend was struggling to make it to shore.
