How did Jessica Simpson's hubby Eric Johnson spend the day after their wedding? By having a family fun day with their two kids Maxwell and Ace!

One day after the couple tied the knot at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, Johnson spent time with their brood on Sunday evening, E! News has learned. A very happy Johnson relaxed at the San Ysidro Ranch with both of his children on his lap, an onlooker tells us. At one point, he had Max in one arm and Ace in the other.

"They were laughing and playing and having a good time with their daddy," the source says. "It was a very touching moment. You could tell how much he loves his kids and how truly happy he was."

The former football player was overheard talking all about his and Simpson's wedding from the day before. "'The wedding went perfectly. It was seamless,'" Johnson was overheard saying. "'It was like a fairy tale.'"

Simpson and Johnson wed this past Saturday in front of more than 250 attendees, including celebrities Jessica Alba, CaCee Cobb, Donald Faison, Topher Grace, Evan Ross, Ashlee Simpson and Cash Warren. The blond beauty stunned in a white Carolina Herrera dress and veil.

While exchanging vows during the ceremony, the 34-year-old groom choked up and had to start over again, E! previously reported. And, according to sources, Jessica was just as nervous when she said hers. In fact, she was so overwhelmed that instead of addressing Eric, she said her own name! Luckily, she laughed it off and started over again.

After saying "I do," the newlyweds enjoyed their reception, which took place underneath large white tents located steps away from the ceremony atop a lush hill on the San Ysidro Ranch property.
