Is that you, Leonardo DiCaprio?

While the 39-year-old actor may have shot to Hollywood heartthrob status after he appeared in the 1997 film Titanic, the Wolf of Wall Street star appears to have undergone a bit of a transformation as of late.

Namely, he's morphing into Jack Nicholson.

DiCaprio was snapped on the beach on Sunday playing volleyball with his 21-year-old girlfriend Toni Garrn, where he was photographed looking like the spitting image of the 77-year-old Oscar winner—so much so that one might easily do a double take.

The Inception star was seen wearing his hair in an unkempt style similar to Nicholson's and even sported a goatee identical to the iconic thesp. He also rocked a pair of sunglasses which are reminiscent of Jack's signature tinted shades in addition to donning simple beachwear for his day out in the sun.

Of course, this isn't the first time Leo and Jack have been compared in the past, and appearances aren't the only place where it's easy to see the similarities between the two A-listers. The Departed stars have both built award-winning careers in Tinseltown and are known for being ladies' men (they're also big fans of large yachts and beautiful models).

In fact, the Django Unchained star wowed fans with his Jack Nicholson impression (or more specifically, Jack Nicholson's eyebrows) while promoting the Quentin Tarantino-directed film in Japan last year.

Perhaps playing Nicholson in a biopic could finally win Leo that elusive Oscar? Hey, it's worth a shot!
