Taylor Swift , can we please be friends?
The 24-year-old pop and country star and many celebrity friends recently had what what looks like one of the most fun Fourth of July weekends ever. There was Slip 'N Slide. Oh yes, there was Slip 'N Slide.
And oh, Lena Dunham ... such a prankster. The Girls star and creator was among several celebrities who posed for a "family portrait" with the group that Swift posted on her Instagram page on Sunday, July 6.
While the singer and the other women, including BFFs Emma Stone and Jaime King, are seen smiling sweetly, Dunham is mock-scowling and flipping the bird. The actress and writer is known for pushing the envelope on her HBO series, in which she often appears naked, and on Twitter, where she showcases her often-hilarious cynical and witty humor.
"4th of July is my Coachella," she tweeted.
Others pictured in the portrait include indie pop singer Ingrid Michaelson, Canadian model Jessica Stam, Australian model Amanda Griffith and Jessica Szohr, who played Vanessa on Gossip Girl and also starred in Swift's 2012 music video for "22." Griffith shared on her Instagram page a similar group pic that shows Dunham smiling with the rest of them.
"The happiest weekend," the model said.
During the festivities, Dunham also performed what King called a "death-defying indoor sparkler selfie," as seen in an Instagram video of the group.
Griffith also posted a photo of Swift cutting into a delicious-looking American flag cake, decorated with whipped cream, strawberries and blueberries. Szohr shared a closeup pic.
Swift posted a pic of another Fourth of July-themed dessert, topped with a heart made of a delicious crust.
"We made apple pie because America," she said.
Stam shared on her Instagram page a photo of herself, Swift, Szohr and Griffith wearing swimsuits and sitting on lawn chairs near a pool.
Szohr shared on Sunday a pic of a group of men and women, including two in bikinis, frolicking in the waves in the ocean.
":) rainy fun day:)," she said.
And when it comes to figuring out what to do on a rainy day, Swift hit the nail on the head.
"When the 4th of July gives you nonstop rain, make a giant slip n slide," she said.
