Located in Atlanta, Morelli's offers over 200 amazing flavors of ice cream—perfect for those hot summer afternoons!

Owned by husband and wife team Donald Sargent and Clarissa Morelli, Morelli's was named the 4th best ice cream shop in America by Bon Appétit Magazine, and Conan O'Brien has even been seen scooping their Salted Caramel!

We're huge fans of their Strawberry Rosewater ice cream, but you'll also want to sample their other amazing flavors that include the donut-inspired Krispy Kreamier, Coconut Jalapeño, and PB&J Sandwich.

Pumphouse Creamery

Open since 2003, Pumphouse Creamery in Minneapolis sources natural and organic ingredients from local farmers' produce to make quality ice cream.

One of our favorite flavors is their Passion fruit and Mango Sorbet swirled with vanilla ice cream served up on a fresh cone! They even offer a special milk and peanut butter ice cream treat for the doggies—and all proceeds go directly to rescue groups.

Leela Cyd Ross/Salt & Straw

All of Salt & Straw's ice cream is handmade in their kitchen in SE Portland and is churned with low air, resulting in more ice cream being served per scoop. All of their cream comes from a family-owned dairy with grass-fed cows.

One of their signature flavors is Strumptown Coffee and Burnside Bourbon, which combines single origin Indonesian Sumatra coffee, mixed woodsy bourbon and a touch of Portland's Holy Kakow Chocolate for added sweetness.

The Creole Creamery

Located in New Orleans, The Creole Creamery takes pride in its assortment of diverse and downright unusual ice cream flavors.

In addition to their staple flavors that include vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, the creamery also offers ice cream of a more unique variety, which includes Golden Summer Fig, Mango Unchained! and Champagne Violette (champagne ice cream with lemon zest and topped with candied violet petals).

Humphry Slocombe

San Francisco's Humphry Slocombe is world-famous for its extreme flavors that include Jesus Juice (made from red wine and Coke), bacon, jalapeño, and olive oil.

We're especially fans of their Hibiscus Beet Sorbet, which is made from sweet roasted beets and hibiscus flowers.

Carmela Ice Cream

It's time to get fancy with some Earl Grey Tea ice cream at Carmela Ice Cream, located in Pasadena, California with a second location in Los Angeles. They were named the #1 Ice Cream Shop by LA Weekly in 2011 and have been voted Best Ice Cream by Pasadena Weekly two years in a row.

Their handmade ice creams and sorbets are made in small batches from fresh ingredients. Some of their other fun flavors include Rose Petal, Lavender Honey, and Lemon Basil Sorbet.

Dole Plantation

This sweet treat will take your taste buds all the way to the beautiful islands of Hawaii, where the Dole Plantation awaits.

After enjoying a plantation garden tour and roaming around in the world's largest maze, reward yourself with a refreshing Dole Whip—their signature soft serve pineapple flavored frozen dessert that can enjoyed in a cup or a cone.

Ben & Jerry?s

Now available all across the United States is one of Ben & Jerry's newest core flavors, Salted Caramel, which features blonde brownies with a salted caramel core.

Other new flavors from their core collection include Peanut Butter Fudge, That's My Jam, and Karamel Sutra.

Cloud 10 Creamery

You'll no doubt be on cloud nine when you pay a visit to Cloud 10 Creamery, located in Houston, Texas. Headed by chef Chris Leung, their menu features a variety of eclectic flavors for those who are looking to step outside of the culinary boundaries.

Some of their special flavors that jumped out at us include the Prickly Pear & Balsamic Vinegar, Buttermilk Chai, and Bread & Butter. Don't be shy about requesting an individual flavor either—just click on the "flavors" tab on their official website and your request will go directly to the head chef.

Baskin-Robbins

Turn every day into a special birthday celebration with Baskin Robbins' Icing on the Cake, which tastes a lot like Funfetti!

It features cake-flavored ice cream loaded with cake pieces, frosting bits and a confetti ribbon. It doesn't get much better than this.

Original Rainbow Cone

If you're looking for something extra deep to sink your teeth into, head on over to Original Rainbow Cone, Chicago's oldest ice cream shop.

By far their most prized offering is the official Rainbow Cone, which features five generous scoops starting with Chocolate on the bottom, followed by Strawberry, Palmer House (New York Vanilla with cherries and walnuts), Pistachio, and finished off with Orange Sherbet on top.
