Ansel Elgort and Violetta Komyshan made a rare public appearance at Paris Fashion Week Wednesday. The New York City-based high school sweethearts left the Valentino runway show arm-in-arm, where the actor looked dapper in a blue suit with epaulette details from the spring/summer 2014 collection.
Though Ansel has brought his ballerina love to work-related events before, it's the first time he's posed for pictures with Violetta since Divergent and The Fault in Our Stars made him an overnight sensation.
Fashion has always been important to Ansel, whose father, Arthur Elgort, is a Vogue photographer. In fact, the actor models six old-school outfits with new-school twists in the June issue of GQ magazine.
Though he's visiting the City of Light now, the 20-year-old movie star will be back on set before long.
Once Ansel wraps production on Insurgent, the second installment in the Divergent franchise, he's set to play the lead role in Van Cliburn, based on the piano prodigy who died in January 2013. Ansel, who is a graduate of LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, started as a dancer and can play the piano.
