Ed Sheeran Talks Taylor Swift, Losing His Virginity and Models Who Eat Cotton Balls

Singer opens up to Elle in revealing new interview

Ed Sheeran is opening up about losing his virginity.

In a new interview with Elle, the 23-year-old "Sing" singer reveals that the first time he had sex wasn't his proudest moment.

When asked what felt better, selling out Madison Square Garden three times or losing his virginity, Sheeran answered, "Probably selling out Madison Square Garden three times."

When asked a follow-up question about losing his virginity, he added, "It's a benchmark in my life, but it wasn't the best thing I've ever done."

As for qualities Sheeran looks for in a girlfriend today, he dished, "A sense of humor. I think that's key for any long-lasting relationship."

"I met this model last year," he added. "Her meal for the day was a cotton ball soaked in Diet Coke. I don't want to be friends with somebody like that."

Sheeran also sounded off on his best friend Taylor Swift. "She's a massive Law & Order fan," he said. "Or is it CSI? It's one of them—on a continuous loop in the house." We have a feeling it's Law & Order.
