Olivia Munn and Aaron Rodgers have yet to make their red carpet debut, but they're one step closer!

The actress invited her boyfriend to be her date to the Cinema Society screening of her movie, Deliver Us From Evil, in New York City Tuesday. The couple arrived hand-in-hand before Munn took pictures solo on the red carpet. She turned heads wearing a Vionnet dress, Casadei heels and Fred Leighton jewelry.

Given that it was a work event, the Newsroom actress, 33, mingled with her film co-stars and did a few interviews before reuniting with the Green Bay Packers quarterback, 30, inside the movie theater. Why did Rodgers skip the press area? "That seems a little strange to walk [together]," Munn explained to E! News. "The carpet's work, you know? I don't go on the field with him," she said with a laugh. "The afterparty we'll hang out and stuff, but the red carpet, it's work." Munn added, "It's interesting when you have some people walk the carpet. Some people do that, but for me...I just...this, this is work."

After the screening ended, the pair posed for a photo inside the afterparty at The Skylark, hosted by Screen Gems and Jerry Bruckheimer Films. It was extra noteworthy, as it was the first time Munn and Rodgers have been snapped together at an official event since taking their romance public in early June.

Earlier that day, Munn spoke about Deliver Us From Evil on NBC's Today. "I love horror movies when they're based on a true story, and this one is. That's what scares me," the actress said. "I love being scared. It's fun. This one's so scary and it's so suspenseful and it leads up to these really big screams."
