Look, we have a couple of biting puns for this Luis Suarez-Giorgio Chiellini story, so just let us get them out of the way and then we will all move on, OK?

You might say he was just hungry for the win.
He really sunk his teeth into the game!
Turns out his bite is actually worse than his bark.
Looks like he just wanted some Italian for dinner.

OK, moving on...

Uruguay just played Italy in the World Cup, and it was must-win situation for both teams, meaning the only way for either of them to move on to the next round was to get a victory. So needless to say, it was an intense game.

You might say it got a little too intense?

No, you would definitely say that.

Uruguay's Luis "The Cannibal" Suarez, known biter, struck again and sunk his teeth into the shoulder of Italy's Giorgio Chiellini. Allegedly. Well, you look at the footage and tell us what you think happened:

And of course Chiellini's injury that strongly resembles a bite mark is pretty strong evidence:

Hopefully if FIFA investigates this incident, they'll say something along the lines of: "We want the tooth!" and then Suarez will scream back: "You can't handle the tooth!"

So it turns out we were not through with our biting puns. Sorry. But we're done now.

Uruguay went on to defeat Italy 1-0, and they will advance out of their group to the top 16 teams with Costa Rica

Like we mentioned previously, Suarez is no stranger to getting up close and personal with his opponents:

And then came the memes:

Losing bites, doesn't it?

OK, now we're done.
