It sure sounds like Katie Couric's bachelorette party was a blast!

The 57-year-old news anchor, who's set to marry fiancé John Molner this weekend, celebrated her upcoming nuptials Wednesday night in NYC, E! News confirms.

"A good friend of Katie's organized her bachelorette party at Le Midi, a French-inspired restaurant downtown New York," a source tells E! News. "There was a big group of people, about 45. They arrived around 6:30 p.m. and before their meal they hung around the bar and enjoyed a few cocktails."

According to the insider, Couric and her guests dined on a "prix fixe meal, which included a mushroom soup, baby lettuce salad, salmon, steak frites and risotto with gulf shrimp."

"They brought their own cake," they added. "Champagne was flowing as were bottles of rose, which seemed to be a hit. Katie knew about the party coming into it, but she was surprised when a gospel choir came into the restaurant and started singing!"

But the festivities didn't end after eating!

"After dinner, everyone made their way down to the karaoke bar where Katie sang!" the source dished. "She loved singing. Everyone was having so much fun! Some of her friends joined in with her singing along. At one point her friends started making up their own words and serenaded Katie. You could tell there was a lot of love in the room."

What fun!
