We knew Tim McGraw was getting buff, but this is bananas!
The 47-year-old country star stripped off his shirt for Men's Health magazine, revealing his impressive eight-pack abs and bulging biceps. The crooner maintains his ripped physique with kettlebell workouts, push-ups and obviously lots and lots of crunches!
"I'll be the first to admit I take it to extremes," the superstar admits in the July-August issue of the mag. "I'm not one of those people who can sorta half-ass something."
We can tell!
The "Live Like You Were Dying" singer also reveals that he gave up heavy drinking and partying for his health…and his family with wife Faith Hill.
"When your wife tells you it's gone too far, that's a big wake-up call," he says.
"That, and realizing you're gonna lose everything you have," the musician continues. "Not monetarily, not career-wise, but family-wise. It got to the point where my kids were getting older, and it was way past the point that they noticed it. And I noticed that they noticed. That's enough to straighten you out...I drank too much. I partied too much. And did other things too much. Chemically. No needles or that kind of stuff, but…use your imagination."
The couple, who have been married for 17 years, have three daughters together—Gracie, 17, Maggie, 15, and Audrey, 12.
During the June 6 episode of Oprah's Master Class, the cowboy became emotional when talking about his marriage. "The chances that we've gotten to tour together, sing together, I mean, how many people get to do that in their lives?"
"I think about the fact that we're married and the fact that we raised these three beautiful daughters. And then I think about having three daughters and having [Hill] for their mom," McGraw adds, shortly before tearing up. "It's a pretty cool thing for those girls to have her."
