Now here's a tampon commercial the whole family can enjoy: HelloFlo, who went viral with last summer's "Camp Gyno" ad, is back to promote their monthly menstruation care packages with another hilarious tale of preteen period woes.
It's about a tweenage girl who's so desperate to get her first period—because "first Jenny got it, then stupid Vicky got it" and, at that age, it's more like you don't know what you've got until you get it…then you take a pill to make it only come three times a year—
That she fakes it. Welcome to the, uh, "cherry slush club"?
Except mom doesn't buy it. For one, it "kinda looks like Florida." Secondly, "periods don't have glitter in them." So she throws her a First Moon Party ("family tradition") and invites friends, a few coworkers and, naturally, grandpa.
