It's been widely reported that Jason Mamoa will play Aquaman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, but neither the actor nor Warner Bros. has confirmed that it's a done deal. Regardless, Jimmy Kimmel had some fun grilling his guest about his rumored participation during Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday.

The host showed a photo of Momoa shirtless on the set of Game of Thrones. He then showed a picture of the DC Comics character Momoa will more than likely portray. "It seems odd to me that this guy would play this guy, too," Kimmel joked. "Will you wear the green leotard in the water as Aquaman?"

"Would you like to see me in a green leotard?" Momoa asked in an attempt to deflect the question. He insisted that the casting news is "all rumors," prompting Kimmel to show him a print-out of a Variety article that framed his casting as it were a fact. "Is that a rumor?" he asked. "Or is that happening?"

"That would be pretty exciting," Momoa said. "What do you think? We'll just have to wait and see."

During the show, Momoa also talked about Game of Thrones, life with wife Lisa Bonet and much more.
