E!'s Cutest Cat 2014: Check Out the Reader-Nominated Kittens and Vote for Your Favorite!

We've narrowed the list down to 25 adorable furry friends

Looking through all the submissions for E!'s Cutest Cat of 2014 was the best job in the world and the worst job in the world. It was the best because "OMIGOD KITTENS!"

And it was the worst because we had to look at over 100 photos of absolutely adorable cats and only pick the top 25. If we could, we'd pick every single cat as the cutest reader cat of 2014, but that would defeat the purpose of this whole competition and our own cats would be sorely disappointed in us.

So what were we looking for while perusing reader submitted pics? Well, since June is Adopt-a-Cat month, we were looking for rescued kittens. And while every single furry friend we looked at had something special, we could only choose but a few to feature in our gallery of E! Readers' Cutest Cats finalists.

So thank you to everyone who turned in photos (you can look at all of the Twitter submissions if you want to see all the precious nominees) and of course, thank you a trillion times over for choosing adopting over shopping. We know that none of you actually need the title of 2014's Cutest Cat because you won the very moment you took your kitty home.
