The singer reunited with his estranged daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown over the weekend after being on the outs with her since Whitney Houston's passing more than two years ago.
The two reunited in front of a hotel and documented the understandably emotional meeting on their social media pages.
Bobbi is shown running towards her dad in one picture, as the former New Edition singer held his arms out wide for a hug.
"I got a running start," Bobbi wrote on the sweet candid pic.
She captioned the other photos, "Happy Father's Day" and "Out to dinner with daddy."
And in one final image, the two are shown embracing with big smiles.
"My face says it all," Bobbi added. "I love you daddy."
The family bonding moment marks a huge milestone for the father-daughter duo.
The two have had a notoriously rocky relationship lately, especially after the singer revealed he wasn't supportive of his daughter's marriage to Nick Gordon.
But the negative criticism didn't stop Bobbi and Nick from tying the knot in January, after announcing that they were re-engaged in July 2013.
The late pop icon's daughter claimed that her mother had given her stamp of approval on the relationship before she passed away.
"[Whitney] wanted this. This is something she wanted to see," she explained on Facebook back in January.
