He's the hot Italian guy who still lives at home and she's the small town blonde looking to spread her wings—little did Stephen Bamber and Lisa Tursini know that they would end up falling hard for each other on Escape Club, the new show that features twelve sexy strangers competing for one spot in paradise!
Viewers enjoyed watching the chemistry develop between the two lovebirds, but their affair was cut short when Stephen was eliminated on last Sunday's episode, much to his and Lisa's dismay. When his name was announced at the elimination dinner, Stephen stunned everyone by asking Lisa to leave the resort with him!
"I was really hoping she'd say 'yes' ,'" Stephen said. "I think we have the truest love connection on the show."
Lisa was faced with the difficult decision of choosing between the man she loved and her chance at winning a year's paid vacation. When it was time to say goodbye, Lisa walked Stephen down to the beach for a final kiss. But what happened next shocked everyone—including Stephen!
Instead of returning to the house, Lisa jumped into Stephen's arms and he carried her onto the departure boat with him!
"I knew I couldn't let him walk off the show alone," Lisa explained. "It was a huge decision and I was so uncertain at that time because I knew staying could possibly benefit myself but at the same time I'm definitely one of those girls that always follows her heart and I believe that love is more important."
Since leaving the show, the new couple has been enjoying spending time together while seeing what the future has in store. Stephen also mentioned that they've been mistaken on several occasions for other famous duos.
"After leaving the show, we were out and some guy comes up to us and calls me Ken and her Barbie," he said. "And Brad Pitt and Angelina!"
Hmm, interesting! Either way, we couldn't be happier for these two and we wish them all the best!
