It looks like Rita Ora is stepping off the Spring 2014 DKNY runway and right into a new fragrance deal with the brand!
The British pop star scored yet another campaign with DKNY, appearing as the face of the label's new perfume, DKNY My NY. The sweet new scent seeks to capture sophisticated urban NYC vibes, with the singer calling it "energy in a bottle."
"The fragrance celebrates New York City, which is unlike anyplace else in the world," Ora dished to WWD. "I love the idea of being part of a campaign that captures the spirit of New York and the stories of women here, passionate about their dreams."
The hot campaign pics were shot in Times Square—the heart of the fast-paced city—and feature Miss Ora holding the silver heart shaped bottle, looking resplendent with her signature red lips and tousled platinum bob.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star is no stranger to Donna Karen—she's appeared in a series of DKNY's Spring 2014 ready-to-wear ads and performed at the brand's 25th birthday bash. And it seems that the designer just cannot get enough of the newly-single singer.
"If Rita can't sell it, I don't know who can," Karen gushed to WWD. "She's full of life, she's about what everyone wants to feel—energy. And I find her ageless. She's like this Energizer bunny who can wear anything from track shoes to stilettos, DKNY to Donna Karan."
And we'd have to agree with the designer—Rita is a total fashion knockout. Look out for the print and TV ads, coming this August!
