Welcome back, Kerry Washington!

The Scandal star made her first public appearance tonight since giving birth to daughter Isabelle Amarachi in April.

Washington stunned on the red carpet at Women in Film's Crystal + Lucy Awards at L.A.'s Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.

The new mom, who was presented at the gala with the Lucy Award by Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes, looked gorgeously beautiful in a Max Mara cocktail dress with a black short-sleeve top that has a plunging neckline and a multicolored bottom. Kerry left her dark tresses down and popped a coral lip to match the bottom of her dress and tie in her bright orange pumps.

Also in attendance was Washington's husband Nnamdi Asomugha, who looked dapper in a suit.

The Neutrogena spokeswoman—who secretly wed the former NFL player last June, as first reported by E! News—gave birth at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Apr. 21. In true Olivia Pope Washington style, the actress managed to keep her baby news under wraps for a whopping 11 days.

Washington spoke publicly about motherhood for the first time yesterday during a video chat with the The Los Angeles Times.

One fan, who submitted a question via Twitter, asked Washington, "Now that you're a mom will it be bittersweet to go back to work?"

"So tricky, because you know I don't talk about this stuff," Washington began to say.

"But I will say I feel really, really blessed," she continued. "I just feel really blessed that I'm kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life."

Washington did tweet about a month after giving birth, "Well...I still won't talk about my personal life on here. But...I see your tweets. And I am filled with gratitude! XO #HappyMothersDay."
