Hoda Kotb is happier than ever.

Not only does the 49-year-old Today show host have a killer career, but she's also blissfully happy in her relationship with her boyfriend of one year. And while the NBC star has yet to reveal his identity (with the exception of teasing viewers with pics in which his face is covered), the brunette beauty couldn't help but gush about her man while speaking with E! News at the Samsung Children of Hope gala on Tuesday.

"He bought me a guitar for our one-year and we are just having a blast playing with it," Kotb revealed after admitting that it's "so exciting" that she and her beau are celebrating their one-year anniversary this month. "We are watching YouTube videos for some pointers on how to play. He and I are going to take guitar lessons on Monday nights as well. I am really dying to learn how to do it, so I am loving it."

The busy brunette is also loving life with her rescued Cockapoo pup, Blake, whom she adopted last March (and named after Blake Shelton) and revealed that her man and her pooch get along great.

"They love each other," she said. "I left them alone and walked away and saw them bonding. He did not even know he was being tested.  You know what they say, when a dog likes your boyfriend and your boyfriend likes your dog—that's the true test!"

She added: "That's when I knew he was a keeper, when Blake liked him! I picked a winner. I am so happy."

Aww.

Kotb also said that her dog is now fully trained and joked that he's probably "more trained then the real Blake Shelton," before she turned to the topic of marriage.

"I have already done it once, so, unlikely, but really, whoever knows in life?" she revealed when asked if the two have any plans to say "I do." "Life is so crazy, who knows? I have a dog now, and who would ever think that?"
