Harry and Lloyd are back in action!

Two decades after the dimwitted duo set out on their first adventure in 1994's Dumb and Dumber, the beloved characters are reuniting on the big screen in 2014's Dumb and Dumber To. Stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels debuted the first trailer during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Tuesday.

In the sequel, the pals search for Harry's long lost daughter in the hopes of getting a kidney transplant.

Not much has changed: Harry and Lloyd still live in the same apartment, their outfits appear to be nearly identical to the ones they wore in the original movie, and the jokes are just as dumb as ever.

"It's not even a movie anymore," Carrey jokingly told host Jimmy Fallon. "It's a phenomenon."

Daniels, meanwhile, recalled the casting process that took place more than 20 years ago. "I remember the audition, because I was Mr. Drama and he was Jim, and I had to prove that I could be funny," he said. "We were doing the hot tub scene, and before we even said a word, he just went into Lloyd."

Carrey interjected and joked, "I motor-boated him!"

To get back into character, Daniels said, "I just kind of sloshed my brain around and then I was there."

During Tuesday's show, Carrey and Daniels also participated in a "Real People, Fake Arms" sketch.
